1 input of the camera to be triggered. In normal practice,
power for this input can be taken from the 12VDC power
input of the camera if an additional 680-ohm resistor is
installed in series between the 12VDC and the sensor circuit.
A sensor device may also supply its own switched voltage
across Pins 1 and 2 providing the current is held to between
10 and 20 milliamps, remembering that the 300 ohm series
resistor of the camera must be taken into account. For any
sensor, a minimum of 200ms is required to assure trigger
recognition.
External Sensor 1 - Input See Pin 1.

External Sensor 2 + Input
Electrically identical to Pins 1 and 2, Pins 2 and 3 represent
(S2+)
the second external sensor input.
External Sensor 2 - Input See Pin 3.

Powering External Sensors
Because the IC-360 camera contains only an internal 330 ohm series resistor, an additional
external series resistor is required to use the VersaCam IC-360’s own 12V power to operate
sensor circuits without damage to the opto-coupler.

Alternately, a device may supply its own voltage to activate the opto-couplers. For
additional details on such circuits, please refer to the pin-out and interface information at the
