Shadow detected
If a shadow was detected in the pen camera's view of the display, the
pen
will fail to connect. A
pop-up will appear on the display screen indicating an
Unsuccessful connection attempt –
SHADOW DETECTED in camera view of display.
Corrective action:
Make sure shadows are not blocking the pen camera’s view of the screen. If
shadows are unavoidable, use
penveu
in AUDITORIUM menu setting. See
for more information on how to use
penveu
in AUDITORIUM menu setting.
Incorrect Computer Resolution or Frequency
If the computer source resolution or frequency does not match the native resolution and
frequency of your display device. The
penveu
system
performance may be degraded.
The
CONNECT THE PEN
pop-up will indicate both the current resolution of your projector and
the native resolution of your display device.
If you choose to proceed with connecting the pen without changing the computer resolution or
frequency, a pop-up will appear on the display screen, indicating a
WARNING: Improper
resolution setting.
