Test rod
Order designation: TR 14/30/50/60
The detection capability of a safety light curtain should be checked regularly using
a test rod. The test rod must be kept in the same location as the safety light
curtain. At regular prescribed intervals, the protection field must be tested at
different points over its entire height (in front of the transmitter and receivers and in
the center between the transmitter and receiver) and the results must be
documented.
The receiver of every safety light curtain comes with a test rod 230 mm in length.
The rod is suitable for checking the detection capability of light curtains with
different resolutions.
