Safety Instructions
WARNING: BATTERIES PRODUCE EXPLOSIVE GASES.
Consult the car owner’s manual and follow all instructions.
Shield eyes and face from the batteries at all times. Be sure the
vent caps are tight and level. Place a damp cloth over any vent cap
on both batteries. Handle the cloth carefully; do not allow the cloth
to come in contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Be sure the vehicles
do not touch and both electrical systems are off and have the same
voltage. Avoid moving fan blades.
Do not use the jump leads after cranking continuously for 10 ~ 15
seconds. Wait for about 1 minute and try again. If you can still not
start the stalled car, the problem might be due to a mechanical or
electrical failure, and not the battery. Seek a qualified technician.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not
covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for
any ensuing defects or problems.
Consult your car owner manual for complete details.
Lead-acid batteries contain sulphuric acid. Avoid contact with skin, eyes
or clothing.
The improper connection of jumper cables presents an explosion
hazard. Follow the recommended procedures.
Do not smoke or use an open flame near batteries.
Remove vent caps and check the liquid level before jump starting. If the
liquid is not visible or appears to be frozen, do not attempt to jump start.
Only start batteries of the same voltage.
Wear safety glasses.
