3. General Guidelines
•
The
EHR800
should be used with an alternating current of max. 230V AC/50Hz.
•
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
•
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified
people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the device.
•
Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
•
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
•
Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks,
crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.

5. Use
•
The device is for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
•
Make sure the device is placed on a solid surface.
•
Avoid using the device in rooms where there are inflammable substances such as gas, paint or other.
•
Do not use the device near or do not point it at furniture, curtains or other inflammable objects.
•
Keep the back of the device minimum 1 metre away from walls and objects to allow free air flow. Do not place the
heater below a socket outlet. Do not place the unit where it could be damaged or get wet.
•
Avoid using the unit when sleeping.
•
Do not use the heater with a timer or any device that switches on the heater automatically.
•
Do not use an extension cord to avoid risk of fire.
•
Make sure the device is switched off before plugging it into the mains.

I + II: 800W
During use the unit may expand and contract and make clicking noises. Do not be alarmed. This does not
mean malfunction.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
3. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
4. Wipe the body frame and reflector regularly with a dry or damp, lint-free cloth and neutral detergent. Clean the
honeycomb grille with a brush. Do not use water or products such as benzene, thinner, polishing powder, etc.
Make sure that the parts exposed to the heat rays and the ventilation are free of dust and dirt. Do not touch the
quartz heating elements.
5. Store the device in a dry and clean place and use the original package.
6. There are no user-serviceable parts.
7. In case of breakdown and/or poor function of the device, disconnect it from the power supply and contact an
authorized service centre.
8. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
