We recommend using a power adapter if you plan using the scales on a regular basis. If not, powering
the scales with batteries will suffice.
To insert the batteries, proceed as follows:
1.
Open the battery compartment of the weighing platform by sliding the cover toward the outside.
2.
Insert two AAA batteries according to the correct polarity.
3.
Close the battery compartment.
Remark:
Remove the batteries or disconnect from the mains if the scales will not be used for a longer
period.
The deported display does not need any powering.
Warning:
Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode. Do not
attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in accordance
with local regulations. Keep batteries away from children.
