Forcing the Main Unit to establish a connection to the Internet
With the Main Unit turned on the Rocker Switch
[A]
can be flicked on and off to instigate an
immediate connection attempt, a Force Connect, FC. This can be useful if new settings have
been made on the Web Portal. While connected the Main Unit will immediately receive the
new settings without the delay of waiting for the next scheduled connection time according to
set Connection Rate, CR.
3.7.2.2 Buzzer sound signals
Aside from the on and off signals explained in chapter 3.7.2.1 the buzzer can give information
on other ongoing activity.
Data received
The buzzer sounds a two-note signal to indicate that a data package has been successfully
received. This sound is typically repeated multiple times as Nodes sends their data. During
normal operation this series of signals are typically heard as the Nodes reach their scheduled
upload interval time.

This sound can be turned off using the advanced settings in the Web Portal.
Unpaired node in the vicinity
If a node not currently paired with the System seeks to initiate communication the buzzer plays
a series of notes to indicate that the node is available for pairing. This signal is sounded with
even intervals until the actual Node is either paired or reaches its time out for the establishment
of a connection, typically ten minutes. If multiple nodes are trying to connect this signal will
sound for an extended amount of time.

The System is normally shipped with all included nodes already paired with the Main
Unit. Pairing of Nodes to a Main Unit is not covered in this Instructions for Installation
and Use. Contact your sales representative for help adding more Nodes to the System.
3.7.2.3 LED lamp indications
The status and current activity of Main Unit are indicated by the LED lamp indicators
[B]
flashing green or red in different patterns.
Unit on but not active
When the Main Unit is switched ON and no measurement session is in progress nor scheduled
to start, the green LED indicator lamp blinks on and off in a slow pace. This indicates the Main
Unit is waiting for a new measurement session to be initialized using the Web Portal.
