5.5.3 Electric connections
IMPORTANT NOTE
All electrical installations may only be carried out by a qualified electrician
(BGV A2).
Wiring of all internal components has been performed at the factory. On site, only the cables
from the conduits have to be connected to the terminal block.
In any case
– and while observing all relevant regulations and standards – you will have to
connect the power supply. Depending on the individual version of the electro-mechanical
barrier, additional external components may have to be connected as well (desk-top consoles,
induction loops, etc.). If applicable, this may also apply to the fixed support post. The terminal
diagram enclosed with the barrier will indicate the proper connections required.
After all installation work has been completed, you can replace the housing panels (see
Figures 5.5 to 5.9).
