7.1 Important Safety Notices
Warning
Our boom barrier systems may only be used for vehicle traffic and not as
entryways or exits for pedestrians.
Carefully read this Operating Manual before operating the boom barrier for the first time.
Note
In case there is anything in this Operating Manual you do not understand, please
contact us immediately.
Our boom barrier systems have been designed, manufactured and tested according to the
rules of the technology, i.e. to all relevant regulations and standards.
To ensure trouble-free operation at all times and to avoid damage to persons or property,
please follow all information and warning hints contained in this Operating Manual, these
hints are an important part of our warranty.
When operating electric devices, certain components contain, as a matter of course,
dangerous voltage. Therefore, do not remove any covers. Any installation and maintenance
work must be carried out by qualified and knowledgeable personnel. This also applies to any
mechanical work done on the drive unit of the electro-mechanical barriers.
Improper operation of the boom barrier may cause damage to health and property.
Warning
You may not undertake any mechanical or electrical modifications on the boom
barrier system unless and until agreed to by us in writing. Otherwise, the
warranty and the Declaration of Conformity will become void.
Care must be taken that, at no time, children are allowed to operate the boom barrier or play
with it.
This Operating Manual must be available at the
site of the boom barrier’s operation at all
times. It must be made known to any persons authorised to operate the boom barrier.
