7.7.2 Electro-hydraulically operated boom barriers
In case of a power loss, the barrier boom can be lifted by hand. For that purpose, the three-
way valve must be switched from the middle position (normal operation) to the position
“manual lifting”. The barrier boom can now be brought by hand into any position desired and
it will remain in that position.
In case of a power loss and with the barrier open, the three-
way valve is to be set to “manual
lowering” which will cause the barrier boom to lower due to its own weight.
Note
Please do not forget to switch the three-way valve back to its middle position
(normal operation) afterwards.
