The Perrelet P-371 calibre equipping your watch represents
a blend of precision and performance that perpetuates the
tradition of excellence instated by Abraham-Louis Perrelet,
who invented the self-winding movement in 1777.
With the new Turbillon model – a contraction of Tur(bine)
and (tour)billon – the successful Turbine collection that lends
unique character to Perrelet’s iconic Double Rotor becomes
one of the brand’s most technically sophisticated lines.
The Turbillon debuts a refined turbine carved out of noble
sapphire. The transparent blades discreetly enliven the dial
and unexpected reveal the brand-new tourbillon from Perrelet.
The prestigious mechanism incorporates an innovative escape-
ment with an oxidized silicon wheel and lever, at the heart
of an exclusive self-winding movement – Calibre P-371 with
a 65-hour power reserve – developed by the sister company
in the Vallée de Joux. Observers may admire its hand-crafted
finishing, notably including a delicate Côtes de Genève motif
adorning the baseplate and bridges revealed through the
transparent back of the watch.
The hours and minutes are displayed in the center of this
model and the hands are fixed to the heart of a circle forming
a lucky “figure 8” with the circumference of the tourbillon
carriage visible at 12 o’clock. Around it, the black dial is
enhanced by a raised structure available in two versions and
