Large or flat items such as plywood, ladders, lumber,
hang gliders, canoes, kayaks, etc., can trap air and
create wind lift. Secure the ends of long objects
directly to the front and back bumpers or tie-down
positions.
Bulky or tall loads can create tremendous horizontal
wind resistance from headwinds and crosswinds.
Extreme caution should be used when transporting
such loads.
