DANGER!
The slip clutch is a component relevant for security. If you have
adjusted the slip clutch, be sure to check before using if the
opened door can be moved by hand. The pressure you need to
use when moving the pet door is equal to the maximum pressure
that the pet door exerts towards an obstacle.
WARNING!
The adjustment of the slip clutch results in limited product
liability and warranty.

Manual Locking / UNLOCKING of door
In case automatic operation fails (e.g. due to damage) the locking
bolts can be moved by means of a medium-sized screwdriver
gently but with pressure against the resistance of the motor.
You will hear a slight noise from the engine while pushing the
bolts. This is normal and will not harm the door.
That way you can manually unlock and open the door e.g. to
access the battery connector or close and lock the door for a safe
and defined state.

Operating Mode

during normal operation
A green flashing Operating Mode symbol means that the battery is low. The battery charge
status is continuously monitored during operation. After a prolonged power failure, this can
be quite normal. The flashing light should disappear after about one hour. If this condition
does not disappear, a battery replacement should be arranged. The operation of the pet
door is not disturbed, but you do not know when the battery will fully collapse (similar to
your car). If the battery voltage is below another lower voltage value, the door will no longer
be able to operate in case of a mains outage.
Please contact us in due time to make an appointment for battery replacement.

in normal operation and the pet
door is without any function.
Normally, the red flashing symbol Operating Mode means that pet door is operated by door
contact and the front door is open.
If the front door is not open, please check the setting of the door contact (normally open or
normally closed). This can be found in Section 10.4.7
If your pet door is not connected to a door contact, you may have activated the door-to-door
contact by mistake. Instructions how the door contact can be activated and disabled again
can be found in Chapter 10.4.7
