Thank you for purchasing a Peugeot corkscrew from
the Saveur de vin range.
BEFORE USING YOUR CORKSCREW FOR
THE FIRST TIME
• We recommend that you study the user leaflet
carefully and observe the instructions meticulously
so that you enjoy the fine performance of your
corkscrew for a long time.
• Please inspect your corkscrew for any possible
damage in transit.
• A specialist should be called on to carry out any work
other than normal cleaning and servicing, as faulty
repair work can put you, the user, at risk. You should
never attempt to dismantle the appliance.
• Every time you need to use the appliance check
that the main parts, the power cord and power
transformer are all in good condition. Never use an
appliance if its power cord is damaged.
This corkscrew should be used exclusively in conjunction
with the transformer supplied (ref. 212209 / 212210 /
212211 depending on the country).
The use of any other
mains adaptor releases the manufacturer from all
liability.
This corkscrew has been designed to be used exclusively
with the rechargeable batteries supplied. The use of any
other battery may damage the corkscrew.
Use of the corkscrew in a manner not described in the
leaflet releases the manufacturer from all liability.
CHARGING THE BATTERIES
Plug the transformer jack into the corkscrew and power
up (figure 1a).
A red diode lights up on the corkscrew and remains
alight while the corkscrew is plugged in. It indicates that
the corkscrew is charging (figure 1b).
To get the best performance from your corkscrew,
you should ensure you charge the batteries for 15 hours
before using it for the first time.
Subsequently, we
advise you to charge the batteries for about 10 hours
as soon as they show signs of draining.
