pewag levo clamp LC
5.5 pewag levo clamp LC network
If one radio control unit is connected to several pewag levo
clamps LC, a pewag levo clamp LC network is created. In this
case, the radio control buttons (open/close cam, workplace
lighting and status query) will perform the action in question
for all the pewag levo clamps LC in the network. For the
information symbols, the following applies:
• The battery charge status display shows the charge status of
the weakest battery.
• The status display will light up as soon as at least ONE
pewag levo clamp LC in the network reports an error or any
other information described in chapter 5.2.
5.6 Disconnecting the pewag levo
clamp LC from the radio control unit
For unpairing the pewag levo clamp LC please proceed as
described under chapter 5.4. To confirm that the disconnection
process has been completed successfully, the status display
on the battery will give several short flashes.
5.7 Charging station
If only the red LED lights up on the charge status display, the
battery is almost empty and needs to be recharged. Always
use the pewag levo charging station to charge the battery. To
charge the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Release the battery and remove it from the pewag levo clamp
LC as shown in section 5.1 „Removing the battery“.
2. Insert the battery in the pewag levo charging station and lock
it as shown in section 5.1 „Inserting the battery“.
3. Connect the device plug of the pewag levo charging station
to a power source.
The battery will charge automatically and the charging station
does not need to be activated separately. Among other factors,
the charging time will depend on the surrounding temperature.
When all green LEDs light up, the battery is fully charged. The
charging process will terminate automatically. The battery may
then be removed from the charging station.
Never attempt to charge the battery using a
device other than the original pewag charging
station!
Never attempt to repair the charging station
yourself!
5.8 peTAG
The peTAG is located on the side of the casing, above the
identification plate on the right-hand side. The peTAG is an
NFC chip designed to support you with the regular inspection
and identification of the pewag levo clamp LC. For more
detailed information, please visit petag.pewag.com This link
tells you everything you need to know about the intelligent
testing equipment offered by pewag.
6. Optional equipment and
accessories
In addition to the extensive basic equipment, the following
add-ons are available for the pewag levo clamp LC, which may
be integrated ex works, included in the scope of delivery or
purchased separately at a later point.
These add-ons were designed to make your pewag levo clamp
LC even more powerful.
If you are planning to retrofit module 6.1 of your pewag levo
clamp LC, please note that this must be done by pewag or an
authorised pewag dealer. Please contact your supplier for more
information.
6.1 Light module
The LED of the light module is positioned just next to the
(closed) cam. It is activated/deactivated using the pewag levo
remote radio control. With the light module, the working area
is fully illuminated when the cam is open. To save energy, the
light will deactivate automatically after a pre-set period of
10 seconds. This setting may be changed via the pewag levo
manager software (see chapter 6.3).
6.2 Multi-adapter and end piece
If several batteries and charging stations are used, it makes
sense to link the individual charging stations with the pewag
levo multi-adapter. This eliminates the need of connecting each
individual charging station with a socket using a cable. The
pewag multi-adapter makes it possible to operate up to ten
charging stations in one line with a single device plug.
You will need one multi-adapter per charging station. Connect
the adapters with each other and then connect the charging
stations with the multi-adapter (maximum of 10 in line!)
In addition, there is also an end piece for the multi-adapter that
constitutes the end cover on the last multi-adapter.
