Inserting the battery:
Ensure that the battery compartment is free from foreign matter
and dirt and that the battery and the battery compartment are
dry. If required, clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
Next, carefully push the battery into the compartment as far
as it will go. Turn the fold-down handle clockwise by 90° to the
„Locked“ position.
Important:
• Never try to insert or remove the battery when the fold-down
handle is set to the „Locked“ position! This may damage the
locking mechanism.
• Do not use tools or other devices to insert or remove the
battery or to turn the fold-down handle.
• NEVER try to open or repair the battery unit or to replace the
battery cells!
5.2 First use
To activate the levo hook, press the on/off button on the battery
(see table). The device is now ready for use.
On the battery/casing of the hook, you will find the following
buttons and information symbols:
* There are four potential reasons why the status display will
light up:
1. The device is malfunctioning
2. The test interval for the device has been exceeded
3. Pairing mode (see section 5.4)
4. If the hook is turned on
In case of malfunctioning, try acknowledging the fault memory
by deactivating the device using the on/off button. Wait 10
seconds before reactivating the levo hook. If the status display
no longer lights up, the error was temporary. Continue using
the device as normal.
If the status display lights up again immediately or after a short
period, the device must be inspected by pewag austria GmbH
or by an authorised pewag dealer and repaired as required.
