Functional description
The term “service jack” refers to a manually operated, transportable hydraulic lifting device.
A rotary load supporting plate supports the load.
The load is lifted by a swivelling load arm, which is mounted in the base frame on an articulated joint.
A hydraulic pumping device involving a lifting piston, non-return valve, overpressure valve, and lowering device for
the controlled release of the raised load performs the lifting process.
The jack has four rollers to enable the user to transport it easily
without a load
.
Operating precautions:
Note:
Use the jack only on adequately compacted (stable) ground.
The jack must not be used to transport loads.
Ensure that the jacking handle has room to move freely.
Use additional supports for working under the raised load.

Operating instructions
Never use the service jack as transporting device.
Park the vehicle you wish to lift on flat, compacted ground.
Chock the raised vehicle to ensure that it cannot roll away, slip, or otherwise fall off the jack.
The device should be located under the jacking points provided for the purpose by the vehicle
manufacturer and not under the vehicle directly.
The load support plate must be positioned centrally under the jacking point.
If necessary, use a non-slip, resilient surface.
If necessary use a non-slip, elastic
