Storage
The OME should be stored dry and protected from moisture. The filter elements can ab-
sorb moisture, and the lubrication properties of the oil and hence the end pressure can
be negatively influenced in pumps with an oil return unit.

Range of application
The operating fluid return unit operates without auxiliary power and is capable of operat-
ing in the final vacuum range of 800 hPa intake pressure (at 1000 hPa air pressure).
Moreover, its operation is not affected by rotational speed, gas ballast application or built-
up exhaust-side pressure. During dynamic pump-down cycles such as load lock applica-
tions involving small volumes extended pump-down times are to be expected for intake
pressures < 5
