Machine will not stop
- Air pressure safety switch misadjusted
or defective
- Adjust air pressure safety switch
- Air hose or gaskets defective
- Replace air hose or check
compressor
- Air tap on spraying gun defective
- Insufficient compressor output
-
Air supply not connected to
compressor
No constant mortar flow
- Bad mixture in mixing tube
Add more water
(air bubbles)
- Mortar clogs and narrows mixing tube
inlet
If unsuccessful, clean or replace
mixing shaft
- Inlet filter on mixing tube has become
wet
Dry mixing tube inlet and restart
- Mixing shaft defective
- Motor clutch defective
Replace motor clutch
“Thick-thin” mortar flow
- Not enough water
If there is not enough water,
-
Water safety switch misadjusted or
defective
increase water quantity by 10% for
about half a minute and then return
slowly
- Mixing shaft defective; no original PFT
mixing shaft
to normal setting or readjust or
replace pump
-
Pressure
reducer
misadjusted
or
defective
Eliminate any other causes
- Rotor worn out, defective
- Stator worn out or clamped too loosely
- Clamp defective (oval)
- Inner wall of mortar hose defective
Replace mortar hose
- Rotor too deep in pressure flange
Check mixing shaft and motor
- No original PFT spare parts
clutch
Water level rises in mixing
tube during operation
- Backpressure in mortar hose higher
than pump pressure
Readjust or replace stator
- Rotor or stator worn out
If necessary, replace rotor too
- Hose blockage due to mortar being too
thick (high pressure due to low water
factor)
Unblock hose
Fault lamp goes on
Overload
- Motor protection switch (16 A)
actuated (pump motor)
Turn protection switch back on,
clean mixing tube and increase
water supply
- Pump blocked with dry material
when restarting machine
- Insufficient water quantity
- Star wheel motor safety switch
actuated
Clean hopper and star wheel
- Thickened material in hopper
