29.1 Safety
Personal protection
equipment
The following protective equipment must be worn while performing all
jobs:
Work safety clothing
Safety glasses
Safety gloves
Safety shoes
Hearing protection
NOTE:
Other safety equipment that must be worn while
performing certain jobs are indicated in the warning
notes of this chapter.
Basic
WARNING!
Danger of injury from improper operation!
Improper operation can lead to serious personal
injuries and material damages.
All operating steps are to be performed in
accordance with the specifications of this operating
instructions document.
Ensure before starting work that all the covers and
safety devices are installed and functioning properly.
Never disable safety devices during operation.
Pay attention to cleanliness in the work area!
Components and tools lying loosely on each other or
lying scattered are accident sources.
Heightened noise levels can cause permanent
hearing
damage.
The
noise
level
in
the
neighborhood of the machine under operation can
exceed 78 dB(A). Neighborhood means a distance of
5 meters from the machine.
30 Preparation
Perform the following preparatory work steps before operating
the machine:

DANGER!
Rotating mixing coil!
Danger of injury on reaching into the material
container.
– The grid cover (1) should not be removed
during machine preparation and operation.
– Never put your hand in the running machine.
