Fig. 35: Locking roller
1. Lock the locking roller before operating the machine.
2. Place the machine securely on an even surface and lock it
against inadvertent movements:
Do not tilt or move the machine.
Set the machine up in such a way that it cannot be
affected by falling objects.
The controls must be accessible freely.
30.1 Connection of power supply
Fig. 36: Connecting power
1. Connect machine to rotary or 3-phase AC power supply.
NOTE:
The machine can, although it is connected to a 400V / 3
phase AC power supply, switched to 230V 1 phase and
operated (See page 15 Fig. 14:).
Advantage: The motor speed can be regulated through
the potentiometer.
Disadvantage: As the machine is controlled through a
frequency converter, the geared motor does not reach its
full capacity (4kW).
DANGER!
Danger to life from electric current!
The connecting cable must be secured
correctly:
Connect the machine only to a power source
with permissible FI circuit breaker (30mA)
RCD (Residual Current operated Device)
Type B, sensitive to all current types, for the
operation of frequency converters
2. Interrupt the control circuit by removing the dummy connector (2) in
the control cabinet.
