2.2. Phasak UPS installation
1. Storage conditions and location
To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, install the UPS in an area with controlled
temperature and humidity, away from contaminants and electrical conductors (see
specifications section)
Please place the UPS at least 20 centimeters away from other units to avoid
interference.
2. Device connection
Connect the devices to the power sockets on the top of the UPS: the connected
devices will be protected.
3. Unique caution
Never connect non-computing devices or sustained or instantaneous high
consumption. They can cause an overvoltage and seriously damage it.
4. USB cable connection
With the management software installed, you can monitor the status of the UPS
through the PC and program automatic power on and off.
5. Turning the unit on and off
Turn on the UPS by pressing the power button. Pressing it again will turn off.
6. Start without voltage
If the UPS is turned off and there is no electrical voltage at that time, you can turn on
the unit to power the devices connected through the battery.
