Procedure for switching the d oor opening direction
The appliance is supplied with the door hinge installed on the right. It is possible to switch the door opening
direction on this model.
We recommend that a qualifi ed technician or another trained person switches the door opening direction for
you.
If you will be laying it on its back for the purpose of better access to the underside of the appliance,
it is necessary to fi rst place a foam or another soft underlay on the fl oor to prevent damaging the cooling
system on the rear part.
WARNING
Before commencing the procedure for changing the opening direction, ensure that the appliance is
turned off and that the power plug is disconnected from the mains power socket.
1. First it is necessary to remove the top hinge cover.
2. Remove the screws holding the top hinge and carefully take off the top hinge. Place to the side.
3. Carefully lift the door upwards and place to the side.
4. Now it is necessary to remove the bottom hinge. Remove the screws holding the bottom hinge and
carefully take off the bottom hinge.
5. Screw out the foot from the new installation location and move it to the other side.
6. Prior to mounting the bottom door hinge on to the other side, take off and move the hinge pin. Now
mount the bottom door hinge on to the other side. Secure in place using two screws. Check that the
bottom door hinge is correctly located.
7. Insert the bottom hinge pin into the bottom hinge.
8. Place the door on to the bottom door hinge.
9. Close the door and mount the top hinge. Secure in place using two screws. Only tighten the screws once
the door is fl ush with the top cover.
