Disassembly Procedures for 44” & 55” LCoS
Main Cabinet Exploded View
Item Numbers and Letter Identifiers mentioned below, refer to the Main Cabinet Exploded View.
Display The Main Cabinet Exploded View.
NOTE:
If you are servicing a Printed Circuit Board or main speaker, you do not need to remove the
Upper Back Cover.
Lower Back Cover (Item 0036)
1.
Remove (13) T20 Torx screws and (2) T10 Torx screws (A).
Note: It may be necessary to press on the sides of the lower back where it “snaps” into place at
the front cabinet to get it to release.
2. Remove (2) T6 Torx screws (B) holding the Side Jack Panel (Item 0127), disconnect connectors
1335 and 1344 and ground connector 1337.
Note: The ground tab has a small catch to release during removal.
3. Slide the Side Jack Panel through the rear of the back cover.
Upper Back Cover (Item 0034)
Note: The Lower Back Cover must be removed before removing the Upper Back Cover.
Note: The Upper Back Cover holds the Mirror.
1.
Remove (8) T20 Torx screws (C).
2.
Remove (2) T20 Torx screws (D) attaching the Fan Motor Assembly to the Upper Back Cover.
3.
Remove (4) T20 Torx screws (E) attaching the small signal cable assembly harness to the Upper
Cabinet Back. (Not shown)
Note: It may be necessary to press on the sides of the upper back where it “snaps” into place at
the front cabinet to get it to release.
Note: When replacing the Upper Cabinet Back, care should be used to properly route the cable
for the customer control assembly.
Note: When re-installing the Upper Cabinet Back, care should be taken to correctly position the
Light Shield that is attached to the Upper Cabinet Back.
Mirror (Item 0021)
1.
Remove both Lower and Upper Cabinet Backs.
2.
Remove both the Left and Right Vertical mirror support brackets. (Items 0079 & 0080)
3.
Remove both Horizontal Mirror support brackets and remove the mirror. (Items 0078)
Note:
Care should be taken
NOT
to place fingerprints or smudges on the mirror.
Input Power Supply (Item 1045)
1.
Remove (2) T20 Torx screws (N) attaching the power assembly bracket (Item 0117) to the base
assembly (Item 0038).
2.
Slide the power assembly rearward as far a possible.
Note: It may be necessary to release cable harnesses to gain adequate access.
