breast pump for the first time and after every use.

Overview
Clean and disinfect the parts that come into contact with the breast and breast milk as described
below:

Disassemble all parts and then
clean them as described in chapter
'Cleaning' and disinfect them as
described in chapter 'Disinfecting'.

Note: Disinfecting is especially important if your baby is less than 3
months old, was born
prematurely, or has a weakened immune system due to illness or medical treatment. To ensure
hygiene, perform the disinfecting step at least once a day.
The following parts do not come into contact with the breast and breast milk; clean them as described
below:

How
Clean when needed.
Wipe with a clean, damp cloth with
water and mild detergent. Wipe the
motor unit with a clean, soft cloth
moistened with low-level
disinfectant such as ethyl or
isopropyl alcohol (70-90
%).
Do not disinfect the tube.
Caution: Inspect the tubing. If you find condensation in the air tube, wash and dry it immediately
or replace the tubing. If you see breast milk inside the tubing or tubing connector, do not attempt to
wash, clean or disinfect the tubing or tubing connector. Instead, contact the manufacturer.
