2.3.2. INSERTING THE BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE CONTROL
1. Remove the cover on the rear of the remote control.
2. Insert two AAA size 1.5V batteries ensuring that the “+” and “-” ends of the
batteries are correctly aligned.
3. Replace the cover.
Notes:
• Do not mix battery types, e.g. alkaline and manganese.
• It is not recommended to use rechargeable batteries.
2.3.3. OPERATING RANGE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL
When pressing a remote control button, point the front of the remote control towards
the remote control sensor.
Use the remote control within a maximum distance of about 10 m/32.8 ft
perpendicular to the display's remote control sensor and within a maximum angle of 45
degrees.
Notes:
• The effective range declines with the increase of distance and angle.
• Because this is a zero bezel display, the IR sensor is placed at the back of the unit. To
optimize the functionality of the IR remote, we suggest the use of an optional IR extender.
Please consult your dealer for more details.
• The remote control may not function properly if the remote control sensor on the display is
under direct sunlight, in a location with strong illumination, or if there is an obstacle in the
path of signal transmission.
