To clean the fan
After turning OFF the unit and removing the fan (see paragraph 5.14), you can remove the dust with brushes or
compress air and clean it with a cloth together with disinfectant liquids or spay. The same can be done with the
fan box.
Allows a few minutes for drying up.
WARNING: use of products on phenol base and fluids like ether, white spirit, turpentine,
trichlorethylene and perchlorethylene and iodine, can cause damage to constituents of
equipment (e.g. coated materials, plastics, etc.)
6.2
Disposal
6.2.1
General warning
Your product is designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components, which can be recycled
and reused. Please inform yourself about the local separate collection system for electrical and electronic
products, including those marked by the crossed-out wheel bin symbol.
6.2.2
For Countries in the European Union
This symbol indicates that this product (including the cables, plugs and accessory) must not be disposed of with
the other household waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose of your waste equipment by handing it
over to a designated collection point for the cling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. The separate
collection and recycling of your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help to conserve natural resources
and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. For more
information about where you can drop off your waste equipment for recycling, please contact your local city
office, or your supplier’s office.
6.2.3
For countries outside the European Union
Disposal of electrical products in countries outside the European Union should be done in line with local
regulations.
Please act according to your local rules and do not dispose of your old products with your normal household
waste.
6.2.4
Disposal of your CliniScape
Do not dispose of this device with general household waste.
The fluorescent tube used in this LCD monitor contains mercury. Disposal of this monitor must be carried out
in accordance with the regulations of your local sanitation authority.
6.2.5
Dispose of Lithium ion battery (Li-ion)
• Lithium-ion battery should never be incinerated since it might explode.
• Special precautions must be taken to avoid Li-ion battery fire up or explosion that can
cause serious injuries. Never try to extinguish such a fire with water but only with suitable
extinguisher.
• Contact your local waste disposal agency for the address of the nearest battery deposit
site.
6.2.6
