RECEIVING PREMIERE CHANNELS AND
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
Your unit is equipped to receive Premiere channels. To decode the Premiere channels insert the
Premiere CI-Module and the appropriate Smartcard in a free module slot (cf. also Chapter 4.5).
When the unit is switched on, the Premiere CI-Module and the satellite receiver carry out
reciprocal testing (authentication).
The following message
is displayed.
After the test has been performed successfully, the following message is displayed:
This test is also carried out if the Premiere CI-Module is inserted into a free module slot while the
unit is in operation.
N.B.:
Please note that the second module slot is deactivated if a Premiere CI-Module is
successfully detected.
The Premiere channels are stored by the factory in Favourite list 9 = Premiere. Select Favourite
list 9 by pressing the
F
key followed by the
9
key.
5.1 PREMIERE SEARCH MODE
The entire range of channels offered by Premiere is available in Favourite list 9. When you
subscribe to Premiere you will receive information about additional channels or any changes to
the programmes offered by Premiere.
You can also perform a «Premiere search” at any time in order to store all channels offered by
Premiere automatically in Favourite list 9.

Call up the Main menu by pressing the
M
key.
•
Call up the Search mode sub-menu by pressing the 2 key followed by the
OK
key.

Perform Premiere search by pressing the
4
key followed by the
OK
key.
N.B.:
The Premiere search is normally performed on the Astra satellite.
The sequence in which the Premiere channels are stored in Favourite list 9 is
predefined by Premiere and cannot be subsequently altered by the user.
However, it is also possible to copy Premiere channels in any sequence into any
other Favourite list (0...8) (cf. Chapter 4.1.1 for details). Please note that
assignment must be performed again after carrying out a Premiere search.
