When an
Alarm
Occurs
The alarm messages appear across the top of the screen. You need to
identify the alarm and act appropriately, according to the cause of the
alarm.
•
Identify which monitor is in alarm.
•
Check the patient's condition.
•
Identify the cause of the alarm.
•
Silence the alarm, if necessary.
•
When alarm condition is eliminated check that the alarm has reset.
You will find the alarm messages for the individual parameters in the
appropriate parameter sections of the Manual.
