reducing call costs
By diverting all calls to Orange Assistant or Orange
Messenger you may be able to reduce your call costs
when you’re overseas. Your calls can be answered in
person by an Orange operator, and messages quickly
relayed to your phone in the form of text messages. If you
divert all calls, you won’t have to pay for the international
part of any call to you (as you normally would when
abroad) as no attempt is made to reach your Orange
phone. Using either of these services also enables you to
select messages you want to respond to straight away,
and leave those that can wait until later.
Alternatively, you can use your Orange Answer Phone.
You will be charged for the international part of the call
when messages are left on your Answer Phone. To
retrieve your Answer Phone messages while abroad you
will pay the cost of an international call to the UK.
However, you can retrieve them at the usual rate when
you return to the UK.
Note:
Not all Roaming networks support text messaging.
