Operating your humidifier
Preparation
•
When using your humidifier for the first time, place it in the room where
it is going to be used half an hour before switching on.
•
Place your humidifier on a smooth, flat and stable surface.
•
Make sure the water basin (12) is clean and free of foreign objects.
•
Recommended room temperature for babies is between 16 and 20 ºC
with a relative humidity between 40 and 60%.
•
Check the air humidity on the hygrometer supplied. If the humidity level
drops below 40 percent, follow the instructions below to humidify the air.
Operation

Be sure your humidifier is disconnected from the mains and the ON/OFF
switch (9) is in the OFF position.

Remove the cover (1) from the water tank (4).

Remove the water tank (4) from the base unit (8) by holding the tank
handle (3) and lifting straight upward.

Place the water tank upside down, twist off the tank cap (14) by turning
anticlockwise and fill the tank with water.
Use clean water.Tap water can be used, but the use of boiled or distilled
water is preferred. Water temperature should not exceed 40º C.

Replace the tank cap (14) by firmly turning clockwise and then replace
the water tank (4) onto the base unit (8).
> The tank will immediately begin to transfer water into the water
basin (12).

Place the cover (1) back onto the water tank (4).
The cover can be rotated so that the mist outlet (2) can be placed in any
required position.
7
Connect the mains lead (11) to a mains socket.
Connect directly into the mains socket and fully insert the plug.
