Preparing for use

When you use the humidifier for the first time, place it in the room
where it is going to be used half an hour before you switch it on.
Place the humidifier on a smooth, flat and stable surface.
Make sure the water basin is clean and free of foreign objects.
The recommended room temperature for babies is between 16 and
20ºC with a relative humidity between 40 and 60%.
Check the air humidity on the hygrometer supplied. If the humidity
level drops below 40%, follow the instructions in chapter ‘Using the
appliance’.

Make sure that the humidifier is disconnected from the mains and
that the on/off knob is set to ‘off’.
Remove the cover from the water tank.
Grab the handle of the water tank and lift it vertically off the base in
a straight line.
Turn the water tank upside down. Turn the tank cap anticlockwise to
remove it (1) and fill the tank with approx.2 litres of water (2).
Use clean water. We advise you to use boiled or distilled water. The water
temperature should not exceed 40ºC.
Only put water in the water tank. Never put any additives, e.g. inhalants
or essential oils, in the water tank.
