"VLAN 802.1 q" menu
In the "VLAN 802.1 q" menu the settings required to insert device interfaces in existing
VLANs are made.

Port mode
In "Port" mode the way in which the device responds to the VLAN IDs can be set.
"Tag" option
Incoming packets are filtered according to the entered VLAN IDs.
Outgoing packets are identified with the corresponding VLAN ID.
"Untag" option
Incoming packets are accepted without filtering.
Outgoing packets are filtered and the corresponding VLAN IDs are removed.

Security in "Client" mode
The settings for the security mode, for WEP, and for WPA do not differ from those for the
access points. However, the authentication of clients differs in WPA/RADIUS mode.
