Access to indices 4 and 6 described in the introduction is either via PROFIBUS DP/V1 or via
the process data interface. Index 7 is intended to be used if no DP/V1 master exists or if both
the specification and the bus restart are to be implemented using a single service in the
process data interface. If the process data interface is used, the effort required is minimized.
For access via process data, configure the VC1 process data interface. This is the "PD PCP
x words" (x = 4, 6, .., 16) module. It can be specified as the first or last module in the station
and the data width and address can be selected according to the options in the CPU.
The remaining terminals can be configured as usual.
