First place the battery in the lower part of the compartment (

). Then push the battery into the
upper part of the compartment until the tabs on the battery snap in.

Remove the shield cover (

) and the dummy plug on the battery socket (

) (when present).

Connect the battery cable (

) to the battery socket (

).

Put the shield cover (
E
) back on. Tighten the two screws on the cover as shown in Figure 13.
