Device Selector
With PC/104-Systems, the position of an insert card in the PCI-Bus
system has to be set using a Jumper. One can imagine the position as
the card’s logical position in the PCI-System or as a „device address“.
The position is also defined as „Slot“, „Slot-Number, or sometimes as
„Device-ID“.
No two cards in a PCI-System are allowed to be set at the same
position. The system will most often not boot at all in such cases.
As a rule, PC/104plus-CPU-Cards have up to four positions available.

Find out which positions your CPU-Card makes available. The
position required for the eGrabber-4plus must have master
capability.
•
Check which positions are used by other PCI-Expansion Cards in
your system. Look for a free, master capable position for your card.
