Suitable protective earth conductor: Cross-
sectional area of the cable ≥ 0.75

Connecting the L-731 / V-731 to the protective earth conductor
1.
If necessary, attach a suitable cable lug to the protective earth conductor.
2.
Remove the screw and the safety and flat washers of the protective earth connection
(p. Figure 7).
3.
Tighten the screw (together with the safety and flat washers) to affix the cable lug of
the protective earth conductor to the protective earth connection (p. Figure 8)
4.
Tighten the screw with a torque of 1.2 Nm to 1.5 Nm.
5.
Make sure that the contact resistance at all connection points relevant for mounting
the protective earth conductor is <0.1
