Recommended separation distances between portable and mobile radio communication devices
and the electromedical appliance
The Thermal Inhaler TermalVap
02 038069 100 000 is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment
where RF radiated disturbances are under control. The TermalVap
02 038069 100 000 customer or operator
may contribute to preventing electromagnetic interferences by ensuring a minimum distance between mobile
and portable RF communication devices (transmitters) and the TermalVap
02 038069 100 000 appliance
and recommended below in relation to the maximum output power of the radio communication devices.

For transmitters with maximum rated output power not shown above, the recommended separation distance
in metres (m) can be calculated using the equation applicable to the frequency of the transmitter where P is
the maximum rated output power of the transmitter in Watts (W) according to the transmitter manufacturer.
Note 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the distance for the highest frequency range is to be applied.
Note 2: These guidelines may not cover all situations. Electromagnetic radiation is affected by absorption and
reflection by structures, objects and people.
CA-MI S.r.l. declares to have verified the reciprocal compatibility of the components
which make up the medical appliance and to have completed the assembly in ac-
cordance with the instructions contained in the instruction manual.
The adjustable nebuliser cup (1) and the underwater tube (8) must be replaced if there
are visible signs of deterioration of the material that makes up these accessories.
Life expectancy: 200 treatment cycles (1 treatment = 12 applications).
Water tank cap: we recommend replacing the valve cap every 3 years or every 600h
of operation.
CLEANING OPERATIONS OF THE MAIN UNIT
To clean the external part of the appliance use a damp cotton cloth with detergent.
Do not use abrasive detergent substances and solvents.
TAKE PARTICULAR CARE TO ENSURE THAT THE INTERNAL LIVE PARTS OF
THE APPLIANCE DO NOT COME INTO CONTACT WITH LIQUIDS. NEVER WASH THE
APPLIANCE UNDER WATER OR BY SUBMERGING IT.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains, unplugging the plug and switching it off before
cleaning and / or maintenance operations.
