- the appliance operated close to heat sources and / or in environments
with high temperatures.
The appliance itself also has a second thermal safety device which must be manu-
ally reset that trip in the event the first one is faulty, definitively locking up the
appliance. The second thermostat also trips if no water is placed in the boiler, pre-
venting the occurrence of high temperatures. In this case, in order to reuse the
appliance contact the PIC TECHNICAL SERVICE CENTRE which will reset the safety
thermostat after checking that the system still works.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE CHECK
The TermalVap appliance has no parts that require maintenance and/or lubrication
(except for cleaning operations). Nevertheless, some simple checks must be car-
ried out in order to verify operation and safety of the appliance before each use.
Remove the appliance from the box and always check to ensure that the hous-
ing and the power cable are whole as they could have been damaged during the
previous use. After filling the boiler with water, screw on the valve cap and ensure
that the rubber gasket is up against the boiler bush which comes out of the appli-
ance’s carcass. If the sprayer was disassembled for cleaning, ensure that it has been
correctly reassembled. The nut gasket must be up against the bush that comes
out alongside the carcass. Then connect the cable to the mains and switch on the
switch; Ensure that there are no steam leaks from the valve cap and/or the sprayer
nut. At the end of inhalation always cool and remove the water from the boiler (see
the INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE section). The appliance is protected by a fuse (1 x F4A
L 250V) located inside it which cannot be replaced from the outside, therefore you
must contact qualified personnel to have it replaced.
