OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before operation:
•
Before beginning to impregnate the liner, always make sure that the working area
is properly ventilated or use an air respirator system.
•
Ensure enough space and even surface for use of Picote Liner Glider.
•
Always read and understand the resin safety data sheet before first use.
•
Use proper chemical resistant gloves when handling the resin.
•
Select the correct size silicone rings for the liner. See your liner manufacturer data sheets for more
information.
•
If work takes place in warm conditions, make sure you have ice or other coolants available to ensure
sufficient working time for preparing and installing the lining.
During work:
•
Do not overfill the lining to be impregnated. Add the resin in a controlled manner and use the Liner
Glider to spread the resin evenly inside the lining.
•
The lining needs to be properly wetted out. Dry locations will create weak points in structure after the
liner is cured. Check the prepared lining carefully, ensuring that the colour of the lining is constant
throughout its length.
•
Avoid using too much resin to avoid possible spills and excess resin slugs in the rehabilitated pipe.
