8.5 DEVICE NUMBER REWRITING (UC MODEL ONLY)
When replacing SOC Unit, it is necessary to rewrite device number to original one for iDatalink user.
Otherwise the activated iDatalink Maestro module will not be used due to mismatch of device number.
About Device Number
Device Number of the unit is same as the serial number.
Check the serial number label of the unit.
How to Rewrite Device Number
1. Enter the Test Mode.

1. Start the product and wait until the map is displayed.
2. Press "Vol+", "Vol-", "Vol+" and "Vol-" in that order.
3. While pressing " (MODE)", press " (MENU)" twice and " (HOME)" twice.
4. Release " (MODE)".
5. Press and release " (MODE)".
6. Product restart starts automatically, and it displayed the Test Mode Main Menu.
2. Select and enter "29. Device Number" in Main Menu.
3. Rewrite the serial number.

Description
"Device Number" displays the currently written Device Number.
Set the Device Number (serial number of the unit) to "Set Value".
[ MODE] is pressed, the writing is executed.
When the writing is completed, "Device Number" is updated.
If an error is detected, ERROR CODE is displayed.
