The XY-118S is a compact, powerful subwoofer product designed for a wide variety of sound reinforcement applications where power and LF extension are required within a
compact footprint. It features a high-power 18 inch (457 mm) neodymium LF drive unit in an optimally tuned reflex enclosure, resulting in a response which has incredible
depth for an enclosure this size, yet still retains speed and impact.
The XY-118S is suited to a wide variety of professional audio applications, from corporate and theatre use through to medium scale front of house or nightclub use. The
XY-118S is also inherently scalable — they will function as single units or in multiples.
No programmed EQ is required for correct operation. For normal usage, active high and low pass filters are required. This is a lot of flexibility in the choice of crossover points,
depending on programme material and user taste.
