Messages
describes some miscellaneous messages that could be sent
from the EDGE Telephony servers to the TMI server or sent from the
TMI server to the EDGE telephony servers.

Properties
ABORT
—
Shuts down communication
between the servers. Can be sent
from either the EDGE server or the
TMI server.
• The numeric status code.
• The text describing the status.

CONFIG
—
Sends the configuration parame-
ters defined in the EDGE tele-
phony device to the TMI server.
The EDGE server sends this mes-
sage automatically when it starts
communicating with the TMI
server.
• The configuration settings specified in
in the telephony device.
HB
—
Sent periodically to allow the TMI
server to check for hung socket
connections.
• An internal representation of the cur-
rent date/time, separated by a colon
(’:’).
