From one end of the acrylic sheet, measure 6-1/2" and draw a solid line with the dry-erase marker. (Line A)

From each end of the sheet, measure 3" and draw a solid line. (Lines B and C)

Along Line A, measure in 1" from each side and draw a small dot. Drill a hole at each dot using a drill with
a 5/32" bit.

Along Lines B and C, mark the midpoint. Using a compass and going from the midpoint of the line, draw a
half circle on each end with a 3" radius.
12.
Use an appropriate saw to cut along the rounded end marks.
13.
Remove the backing from each side of the acrylic.
14.
From one end of the acrylic sheet, measure 5-1/2". Draw a dotted line across the sheet. (Line D)
15.
From the same end of the sheet, measure 7-1/2" and draw another dotted line. (Line E)
16.
Using a strip heater, bend the acrylic at each of the dotted lines. One side will be higher than the other.
17.
Align the bent acrylic with shorter side closest to the pen holder 1" from the back and each side of the
base. Using the round-head screws, attach it to the wood base. Note: Corresponding starter holes may
need to be drilled into wood to get round-head screws started before attaching acrylic piece to the
wooden base.
18.
Place the pen in the pen mount.
