7.10 COLOR
If there are any color issues that cannot be corrected in the display itself, then these color adjustments can be
used to compensate.
If a pure red image doesn't look pure red, we can adjust
Primary Color R
. For example, if a pure red looks a bit
green, we can decrease
Primary Color Red -> R-to-Green shift.
Use the
Video Test Patterns
found in the
Color Temp 3
section during these adjustments and refer to
Section
4.6.3
for further calibration help.
Pressing one of the Adjust Primary Color action buttons will reveal 3 sliders as shown below:
• Use the
Left/Right
arrow remote control keys to adjust the sliders
• Use the
Up/Down
arrow remote control keys to select between
R Shift, G Shift,
and
B Shift
• When
OK
is pressed on the remote control, the slider control is moved to the lower left corner of the display
• When the
light
is pressed on the remote control, the whole OSD is hidden but adjustments are still possible
• Pressing
Back
on the remote control will return you to the full OSD, or simply press the
Menu
key to
exit from OSD mode
7.11 OUTPUT MASTER LEVELS
If there are any Brightness or Contrast issues that cannot be corrected in the display itself, then these Master
Level adjustments can be used to compensate.
This Master Sharpness control can be used if you would like to use a particular setting across all sources.
• Use the
Left/Right
arrow remote control keys to adjust the sliders
• Use the
Up/Down
arrow remote control keys to select between
Brightness
,
Contrast
and
Sharpness
• When
OK
is pressed on the remote control, the whole OSD is hidden and only the slider control is
shown at the lower left corner of the display
• Pressing
Back
on the remote control will return you to the full OSD, or simply press the
Menu
key to exit from OSD mode
