4. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
5. The refrigerant and the insulation of the appliance do not contain any gases which will
harm the ozonosphere or contribute to the green house effect. However, the disposal
of the appliance has to be carried out according to your local and municipal
regulations in view of the protection of the environment.
6. Keep all components of the appliance away from fire and other sources of ignition
before you dispose of the appliance.
1. The air vents of the appliance or its built-in structure must be completely open and
free of any kind of dirt.
2. The condenser and the compressor, located at the rear of the appliance, can reach
high temperatures during ordinary operation. Ensure that the installation is carried out
according to this manual. An insufficient ventilation of the appliance will impair its
operation and will cause damage to the appliance. Do not cover or block the
ventilation slats at any time.
3. Do not block the air outlet with food; otherwise the air circulation will not properly

contain flammable propellants, in your appliance. Explosive mixtures can explode

into the freezing-compartment of your appliance,

3. All refrigerators and freezers have surfaces which are subject to formation of
encrusted ice.
4. Depending on the type, this encrusted ice can be removed automatically ( automatic
defrosting ) or manually, if necessary. Do not remove encrusted ice with sharp-edged
items for you will cause damage to the evaporator and impair the efficient operation of
the appliance. Let the encrusted ice thaw naturally. Do not use hot water.
5. Do not use any mechanic devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting
procedure unless they are recommended by the manufacturer of your refrigerator.
6. Domestic refrigerators and/or freezers are designed exclusively to store and/or freeze
foodstuff.
7. Do not put hot liquids or hot foodstuff into the refrigerator. Do not fill containers to their
maximum capacity.
1. This appliance is designed for the use by adults only. Children must neither play
around nor with the appliance.
2. Children must not play with the appliance. Children are not allowed to sit on the
drawers or to hang on to the doors of the appliance.
