WARNING!
While unpacking, the packaging materials (polythene
bags, polystyrene pieces, etc.) should be kept away from children and

1.
Unpack the appliance carefully. Dispose of the packaging as described in chapter
waste management.
2.
Completely remove the transport-protection (adhesive tape) of the accessories.
Be very careful and do not use any aggressive or abrasive detergents to remove
residuals of the transport-protection.
3.
Install the appliance in a suitable position with an adequate distance from sources
of heat and cold.
4.
If the appliance is positioned beside another fridge or freezer, leave at least a free
space of 2.0 cm between the appliances in order to avoid condensation.
5.
Check that the appliance and the power cord are not damaged.
6.
Install the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated place.
7.
Protect the appliance from direct sunlight.
8.
The doors must open completely and without hindrance.
9.
Install the appliance on a level, dry and solid floor. Check the correct installation
with a bubble level.
10.
Connect the appliance to the mains properly.
11.
The nameplate is situated inside the appliance or at the back.
3.2 Ventilation
Observe the required minimum distances for proper ventilation.
NOTICE!
Fix the plastic wall spacers (
depending on model
) on the
condenser at the back of the appliance to ensure a ventilation gap
between the appliance and the wall.
