Component Envelope
The component envelope shown in Figure 4 illustrates the distance
components extend behind the display. Tall components do not
necessarily fill this area. Planar reserves the right to relocate components
within the constraints of the component envelope without prior customer
notification. For this reason, Planar advises users to design enclosure
components to be outside the component envelope.
An air gap of at least 5 mm is recommended to dissipate heat from
display components. Device designers will need to consider their specific
system requirements to determine the necessary spacing.
