Please note :
Flexible hose :
-
It must always be placed next to the rear-right side of the plancha to prevent it from
coming in contact with the hot parts of the appliance
-A factory-installed elbow fitting connects the flexible gas hose to the gas intake (the user
must never remove it ).
-Avoid unnecessary twisting and bending. The tube must not be any longer than 900 mm.
It must be entirely visible (from the appliance to the bottle) and easily accessible.
-Frequently check its condition and the expiry date. Replace at the first signs of
deterioration. This tube must be changed
every 5 years
unless it is a stainless-steel tube
with a life time warranty.
- The safety pressure reducer must always be positioned on the same side as the gas intake.
- Use a 5 to 13 kg gas bottle distributed in France. The gas bottle must not exceed 560 mm
in height and 310 mm in width with safety pressure reducer.
/!\ WARNING :LEAK TEST
You should check for leaks outdoors away from sources of ignition before using.
Ensure that the adjustment levers are in the closed position (
●
)
Using soap and water, after opening the bottle and resetting the regulator, check for
bubbles at the bottle fittings, valve and appliance levels.
If bubbles appear, it indicates that there are gas leaks.
Close the gas bottle and tighten the fittings.
Repeat the leaks test.
If a leak is from another origin, stop using your plancha griddle and check with the
manufacturer or local dealer.
At each gas bottle change, repeat the leak test.
/!\ DANGER :
Never use a flame to check for gas leaks.
Never use an appliance that leaks (in case of leakage, turn off gas supply at bottle valve )
