I can’t hook up
the plancha
Gas Hose

Wrong diameter
Improper hook up sides
Improperly screwed connections
Use approved hose
Replace the gas hose
Ensure that diameter is correct
The gas hose screws into the gas
bottle on one end and the
plancha on the other.
Make sure it is properly fastened:
black for the bottle end, silver for
the plancha.
The fire does
not ignite

Gas bottle in ‘off’ position
Change gas bottle
Open gas bottle
Connector
Activated for safety
Rearm the connector
Injector
Blocked injector
Unblock the injector at burner
level.
Open the control knob and inject
pressured air at the gas intake
Hose
Blocked hose
Blow in the flexible hose
White spark plug
Plug not aligned propely
Verified sparks at the burner
level if no sparks, contact your
after-service.
Piezo
Disconnected wire
or cut wire
Damaged wire

Defective ignition button
Check that wire connecting the
Piezo electric unit to the white
spark plug is in good working
condition and is securely
connected. If not reconnect
Change wire (*)
Check the condition of the
ignition and connection of the
button for contact
On the electric model, check the
battery and make sure the button
is securely screwed in.
Poor flow of
cooking juices
Pads
Damaged or missing pads
Check state of pads and number
